Welcome to The Violet Orange’s Legacy Project. Legacy projects mark any of life’s most meaningful moments. The process is filled with meaning, purpose, and intention. The result can be an experience or a tangible object, and is only limited by the constraints of our own imagination. Consider me your sounding board and guide in your journey to create your legacy. I am here to listen to your story and help you develop your project based on your experience and values.
Experience
I earned a certificate as an End of Life Doula from the University of Vermont, received a BA in Art & Education, and hold a Master of Arts in Education. As an active hospice volunteer, I provide emotional, spiritual, and practical support to people who are terminally ill and their families. I also own a small art business.
Whether I’m with people in hospice, students in the classroom, or reading books, gathering people’s stories is my favorite past time. I am comfortable with a wide range of emotions and love distilling the importance in what people have to share. Learning about the person or experience that brought you here is an honor. Helping you transform that love into something for yourself or for others is a joy.
