Live with purpose. Leave a mark.

Helping you define + design creative legacy projects

Experience

I find joy in helping people transform the heart of their stories into tangible gifts. This collaborative process incorporates a variety of skills from my work as an End of Life Doula, hospice volunteer, and nearly 20 years as a teacher. I also draw from my BA in Art and Education, MA in Education and ELL certification, and the network I’ve cultivated as the owner of a small artisan business.

End of Life Doula

After several years working as a hospice volunteer, I was invited to join a conversation around End of Life Doulas. After learning about the types of care doulas provide, I signed up for a course at the University of Vermont where I added to my knowledge, presence, and skills in order to guide people through end of life transitions with compassion and dignity. In 2022, I earned my End-of-Life Certificate from UVM’s Doula program. I am an active member of the End of Life RI, a group focused on educating the public about the role of the End of Life doula, as well as raising public awareness around death, dying, and the emerging field of end of life planning.

What is Legacy?

I believe legacy is the mark of love we create during impactful moments. Legacy can be used any time from birth to death when our perspective on living, connection, joy or grief is altered or solidified. It is often used when we reverberate with emotion, such as when we anticipate death, birth, adoption, marriage, divorce, graduation, retirement, a physical move, or any of life’s significant milestones.

The Why

Creating legacy work can be a balm of light and healing during challenging times, and allow us to savor times of celebration with joy and intention. It has the capacity to draw us deeper into ourselves, move us toward a broader understanding of life, and opens us up to deep, meaningful connections. Legacy work helps us define our purpose and design projects according to our deepest values.

Projects

After listening to your story, I will help you define and design your legacy project. Together we will bring your plan to life. Your project will be an imprint of you in the moment, and can be a way to share your passions and values with loved ones.
